these men are well worth the reading.
The credit for this work must be shared with my mother's cousin Charles Weir Walker,
who worked on the Barnett, Scudder, and Badgley lines, began this work in 1958. I
began to work on this in 1964 and my father, Paul William Pearson "caught the bug"
about the same time. Dad worked on the Bentley, Bishop, and Martin lines and
compiled all of the data into one book. Also, thanks and credit must be given to
Daryl Lee Bruner for all of his assistance and information on the Morgan and Martin
lines. The Swedish side of the family was more interesting in tracing due to the
Swedish use of patronymics for surnames, this work was greatly assisted by two
cousins of my father, Alta Hallberg Sodergern of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Karin
Eriksson Hansson of Falun, Dalarna, Sweden.
Please remember that this is a work in process and any comments, suggestions,
additions or corrections are welcome.
